When painting garlic I always think of the fact that garlic is made up of several individual pieces working under one skin...like a school or a company or anything else that functions where pieces make up the whole. As a fan of science I am aware of how important that idea is for progress. As an Artist however, I am equally aware of how every once in a while one piece might like to get away from the rest.
