One Day Study (3-5 hours)- $500.00
Two Day Study $1,000.00
Three Day Study $1,500.00

From life or photos:
Complete Head & Shoulder - $3.500.00
Three Quarter - $7,500.00

Procedure:

Because I prefer to work from life rather than photos, I will come to you. Since most of my portraits are done in three to four 3-hour sittings, I can set up and be finished usually over a weekend. Where the portrait is painted is up to you. I bring the easel, all supplies, & drop cloths.

We begin by choosing a time which suits us both. If you live near New York City the days do not have to be consecutive, for example we could work on Saturdays for as long as it takes.

One of the benefits of working from life is that if you desire we can talk while I am painting. I am not an artist that requires you to be perfectly still and enjoy an environment which is comfortable and relaxed. If a background is desired you do not have to be posing while I paint the background.

I enjoy working from life, traveling, and keeping busy. I take my work very seriously, and make sure that each portrait is of the highest quality. All portraits are 100% guaranteed.

Free portrait for anyone in the military:

Portraits are 16 x 20 or 20 x 24 on Fredrix Cotton Canvas, and one sitting. If multiple sittings are desired only the first sitting would then be free. Although I prefer to work from life I will do them from photographs if you do not live in the NYC area. One free portrait per family please. Although I will try to complete them before Christmas I can't promise it. This offer includes one person per portrait. (If you wish to have more than one person in the painting, there will be a charge for additional people, but I'll still give a military discount). I'm sorry but the free portrait does not include: travel expenses if necessary, shipping expenses, stretching expenses, or a frame. If the painting is not painted on location or cannot be picked up, then the portrait will be rolled and shipped in a tube unless other arrangements are made.
